Frequently Asked Questions
How many Moms are in a
class?
There will be approximately 8-10 expectant moms in your class. 15
is the maximum in order to allow individual time with each Mom.
Will I have to sing?
It would be great
if you sing, but it's certainly not a requirement! Breathing techniques do not
require you to sing. When we learn lullabies, you can sing along if you
feel confident enough. If you'd prefer not to sing, you can still practice
breathing and learn the lullabies. Just hum along with us! Your baby will
hear you!
Can I have 1-to-1 classes?
Yes. Our
instructor would be happy to come to your home. Ask about our private
fees.
Can I bring my own music?
That would be
great! Each week we have a 'bring your own music' spot where you can explain
why you like a particular piece and let the rest of us listen with you.
Will all the music be
classical?
No, but then it
won't all be 'pop' either. We'll use a variety of music during class - anything
that will encourage you to relax and bond with your baby. We specifically do
not use rock music or anything with a heavy beat.
Can I bring my partner?
No. This is
your time - just for you and your baby.
What is a "womb song"?
You don't have to be a composer, or singer, or a musician to create
your womb song. It's a song you can sing to your unborn baby at any time,
anywhere, under any circumstance, without props of any kind. We'll help
you find it.
